Your typical tasks would include, Recruitment and Distribution of staff across different catering departments, organising and motivating catering staff, organisation of ceremonial and prestigious events which require catering.
Also included in typical tasks would be, organisation of spending and financial books, liaising with clients and suppliers, liaising contracts with current and potential clients (Contract Catering).
A more senior post or role would include all of the above, but also added duties including handling and running of the current venue's, menu's, management and client issues, and everyday running of the business.
A more senior role in Catering Management contains widespread responsibilities and a vast amount of experience in the catering industry.
